This charming family home in Ste Maxime had dated furnishings and the dark red floor in particular made the house gloomy, even on a sunny day. As a basis, a “Camel” colored cast floor was chosen that was applied over the existing tiles. In addition, by using light colors and letting the cast floor continue from the inside to the outside, a good connection has been created between the covered terrace and the living room.
The beautiful and cheerful art has been taken as a starting point to create a wonderful and light holiday home. Velvet ocher dining chairs have been chosen in the dining room because they match well with the painting. In the living room we have kept the basics quiet, so that the painting comes into its own. In the decoration burgundy red and the stripes are reflected in the cushions. Throughout the house we have kept the basics calm and the prints and colors are reflected in the decoration and art.
