01. THE CHALLENGE

In the middle of the historic center of Tourtour is the small ancient town house spread over 3 floors. On the ground floor there is a lounge and office with stairs to a cave for the wine stock :).
The house is built against the rock and in several places the rock still comes in through the walls, which creates an extra authentic atmosphere in the house. On the first floor is the kitchen, dining room and bathroom. On the second floor an attractive balcony and the spacious bedroom combined with a cozy sitting area.
The challenges in this project were enormous. Will our bus fit through the narrow streets of Tourtour? Can we get the furniture through the narrow windows and doors? Even with measuring in advance, that remained an exciting moment because of the turn we had to make via the small staircase, where every room also consisted of rooms with crooked walls. In short, a great puzzle with a fantastic result.

03. THE RESULT
The final result is a beautiful, quiet town house that fully fits in with the atmosphere of the authentic village. All furniture eventually fit into the house, although we did have to hoist the sofa in via the balcony on the 2nd floor. That was a job we will not soon forget. This couch probably won’t leave the house for the next 50 years :). Fortunately, it was a sofa with a high-quality fabric so that it will shine for a long time in its final place.
“Words cannot expres how truly grateful we are. We purchased a place in France with a dream. And you made that mere piece of property a Home”. It looks like in a magazine, I just want to stay there all year round! We cannot thank you enough”
