Bergerie des Oliviers
01. THE CHALLENGE
Bergerie des Oliviers is a beautiful villa with a wide view over the olive groves, spacious terraces and olive green shutters. The house was bought by the owners without taking over any furniture. The floors in the house and the bathrooms had to be preserved. To compensate for the somewhat sober / dark color of the floor, light basic colors (white, beige sand color) have been chosen in this house. In addition, the color, olive green (sage green) and grayish blue, accent black has been used. And for the colors decoration ocher and natural tones.

02. THE STYLE
Light furniture has been chosen in the Contemporary Provence style combined with a small classic touch, which fits perfectly with this villa. It has been taken into account that the house will also be rented out, whereby we have not chosen a white sofa or carpet, for example, which are sensitive to stains. Most furniture is low maintenance and easy to clean.
Assumptions:
- Connection between the olive grove outside and the colors inside
- Country style
- Easy-care furniture
- A cozy family home.
03. THE RESULT
The result has become a beautiful home with a nice, quiet uniform design that is reflected in all rooms of the house. The house therefore has a wonderful home feeling, which was also the goal of the owners. It had to become primarily a cozy family home, which will also be rented out by them in the periods when it is not used.
“Thanks to Lemon Tree Interior, the furnishing of our new holiday home went super nice, well and smoothly. It was a fun, exciting but also a pleasant process. Due to the fast communication and the simple involvement of us in the purchase via app, we became very closely involved in the process.
The house looks super cozy and really feels like our home. Due to the close communication, Debby has a good sense of what was important and beautiful to us. She used beautiful beautiful and good quality things. Down to the art on the wall. It’s all right!
So we are now enjoying our beautiful house and the furnishings and hopefully many tenants with us too!”
